Thomas John Riggleman, Sr.

Thomas J. Riggleman, Sr., 94, of Berkeley Springs died Friday, May 3, 2024.
Born August 18, 1929 in Moorefield the son of Brown and Dale Riggleman.
After serving in the United States Army, he worked for General Motors and then as an independent truck driver, later worked for Philip McCoy Excavating. He finished his career as the Morgan County Supervisor for the Department of Highways.
He was a member of Warm Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years Anna Riggleman at home; children, Debra Fox and Timothy Riggleman, both of Berkeley Springs, Thomas Riggleman, Jr., Capon Bridge, Sandra Buzzerd, Longs, SC and great-grandson Dylan Steiner at home; two sisters Bernice Riggleman and Verna Varner; six grandchildren Nicki Pauley, Jackie Steiner, Mike Riggleman, Lance Steiner, Shelly Buzzerd and Joey Hapney; several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters, Olin Riggleman, Loring Riggleman, Freeman Riggleman, Damie Wratchford, Neva Wagoner, Troy Riggleman, John Mark Riggleman and Georganne Monett and two grandchildren, Jeremy Buzzerd and Cassie Buzzerd.
A service will be held Wednesday, May 8 at noon at Warm Springs Baptist Church with viewing one hour prior to the service. Honor Guard burial at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday, May 7 from 4-7 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
