Bypass work moves back to 522

Construction work related to the four-lane U.S. 522 bypass has returned to Valley Road around the clock as of last Monday.

Excavation was taking place on the west side of U.S. 522 for the planned roundabout, with the dumping of excavated dirt on the east side of the road. Travel of dump trucks across U.S. 522 required temporary halting of traffic in both directions throughout the day and evening.
