Arthur Lee Conkey, Sr.

Arthur Lee Conkey, Sr., age 84, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at his home.
Born March 20, 1940 in Bath N.Y., he was the son of the late George Alexander Conkey and Juanita Gould Conkey Hallett.
He was a graduate. Arthur worked as a commercial and residential builder.
Arthur is survived by his children, Tina Smith of Great Cacapon, W.Va., Anita L. Day of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Arthur L. Conkey, Jr. of Berkeley Springs; one brother, Clair Conkey of South Carolina; one sister, Joan Conkey of Berkeley Springs; 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ona Lee Conkey; one daughter, Carla Ann Coble and one brother, George F. Conkey.
Memorial graveside services will be at a later date at Gainesboro Cemetery.
