Assistant Prosecutor Nigel Jeffries, former prosecutor for Calhoun County, has joined the Morgan County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to handle an overflow of abuse and neglect cases in Circuit Court.
“These cases have already been there. The schools appreciate us getting to these cases quicker and the courts appreciate it,” said Prosecuting Attorney Dan James.
