This past weekend the Berkeley Springs Indians wrestling team traveled to Braxton County for the Braxton Invitational. The event featured 23 teams including powerhouse Point Pleasant. The Indians (189) was able to finish in third place behind Point Pleasant (267.5) and Keyser (224).
Berkeley Springs was led by senior Brady Wilt (215) who finished in second place. Finishing third were Daniel Clark (126), Jacob Morgan (132) and Trent Fox (138).
Finishing in fourth place were Aiden Cain (150) and Kollin Sullivan (165). Finishing in fifth place were Michael Holiday (175) and Remington Sites (285). Finishing in sixth place was Krystian Norris (190).
Next up for the Indians is the 2023-2024 Potomac Valley Conference Championships this coming Saturday, January 20 at Frankfort High School. The Indians are the four time defending PVC team champions.
