The 2023-24 Berkeley Springs Indians basketball team opened their season up with a pair of games against Class AAA competition. 
Last Wednesday, December 13 the Indians traveled to Hedgesville for contest with the Eagles. Hedgesville came out fast and aggressive as they rolled to a 61-19 win over the Tribe. Hedgesville recorded 25 steals and forced 35 turnovers on a young Indians squad. Berkeley Springs was led by Holden Gurson’s 8 points.
On Friday, December 15 the Indians hosted the Washington Patriots at the BSHS gym. Washington used their athleticism to race to a 77-49 win over the Indians.
The Indians played an away contest at Grace Chris- tian Academy on Tuesday, December 19. On Thursday, December 21 the Tribe will travel to Allegany, Md. On Friday, December 22 the Indians will travel to Broadfording Christian Academy. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. for all contests.
