CNB spreads good deeds

Last Friday, November 3, CNB Bank joined a community bank effort around the country to put acts of kindness in motion as part of the Best Day Ever! event.

Banking partner Kasasa and CNB employees worked together to reach their goal of performing 100,000 acts of kindness in a single day.

CNB Bank Inc. has a team of 102 total employees and bank officials said half of their employee base participated in the November 3 outreach in every community served by their branches.

In Berkeley Springs, CNB employees put money in downtown parking meters for part of the morning, paid for morning drinks at Lighthouse Latte, delivered treats to Morgan County 911 and first responders. They also donated items to Starting Points and other organizations serving the county.

“We estimate we completed around 600 acts of kindness across Morgan County, Hancock, Hagerstown, and Berkeley County,” said Karen Richards.

CNB Bank has branches in Berkeley Springs, Hancock, Hedgesville, Spring Mills, Martinsburg and Hagerstown.
