Free festival parking expands & shuttles will carry folks to the fun

This year the Morgan County Berkeley Springs Chamber of Commerce has expanded parking lot options for people attending the Apple Butter Festival downtown. Sponsors and partners have loaned lots to the festival operation at these locations in Berkeley Springs:

— Senior Life Services of Morgan County (106 Sand Mine Road)

— Warm Springs Middle School (271 Warm Springs Way)

— Gat Creek (5270 Valley Road)

–522 Ball Field Complex (5488 Valley Road)

— Coolfont Resort (3621 Cold Run Valley Road)

Festival parking is free at these lots.

Festival shuttles will pick folks up at these locations and drive them to the Apple Butter Festival. Shuttles will run on Saturday, October 7 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, October 8 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Because of traffic delays, the shuttles cannot operate on a set schedule, but they will be in constant motion, working to transport everyone quickly and safely.

Here are the routes:

Route #1 – picking up at Senior Life Services and Warm Springs Middle School.

Route #2 – picking up at Gat Creek, the 522 Ball Field Complex and Coolfont Resort.

Both routes will pick up and drop off at the corner of Fairfax Street and Mercer Street, next to the Berkeley Springs-Morgan Co Chamber of Commerce office.

Free shuttles are sponsored by Skeeter’s Autobody & 24 Hour Towing LLC, Smalley’s Taxi, West Virginia Virtual Academy & WVU Medicine.
