Timothy Lynn Stotler
1953-2023
Timothy Lynn Stotler, 69, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md.
Born December 7, 1953, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late Rumsey Bill Stotler and Elsie Bell (Werdebaugh) Stotler.
Tim was a 1971 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and was self employed with A.M.S. Masonry for over 40 years.
In his spare time, Tim enjoyed watching Western shows and wildlife.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Alicia (Kerns) Stotler of Hagerstown; a daughter, Stacey Moten (Keith) of Williamsport; a son, Timothy K. Stotler of Hagerstown; two sisters, Diane Hoopengardner of Hancock, and Shirley Silvers of Berkeley Springs; a brother, Doug Stotler of Berkeley Springs; 2 grandchildren, Alex Sewell and Kendall Moten; and 2 great-grandchildren, Gabe and Kaleeah Fournier. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Charlene Schrompf and June Nalley; and 2 brothers, Richard Stotler and Donald Stotler.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 3 p.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, Md. with Pastor Darrel Strite officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
