The Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce is asking the public to vote in their first ever Apple Butter Festival logo contest. Sponsored by Blue Flame, Inc, this contest was open to anyone of any age to enter as many times as they chose. The candidates were then narrowed down to the top five by a panel of professional artists, and now the public can vote online until July 15.
“For 47 years we’ve had incredible professional artists donate their time and creativity to design beautiful logos for the Berkeley Springs Apple Butter Festival. This year we were so impressed to see the fantastic entries,” said Chamber Executive Director Happy Rone. “There were many local entries, as well as several submissions from across the U.S., and even a few international entries!”
First prize for this contest is $300, second is $150, and third is $75. You can vote on- line at the Berkeley Springs – Morgan County Chamber of Commerce website: www.BerkeleySprings Chamber.com The winning logo will be featured on festival t-shirts and other merchandise. The 48th Annual Berkeley Springs Apple Butter Festival returns October 7-8.
