Terri Sue Barker
1969-2023
Terri Sue Barker, age 53, of Martinsburg, W.Va., died on March 14, 2023 at the home of her sister, Rita Gleason, in Great Cacapon, W.Va., while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born June 19, 1969, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harold Zane Barker, Sr. and Patricia Llewellyn Holliday Barker.
She was a Christian.
Terri was a 1987 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
She was employed at the IRS, Enterprise Computing Center in Martinsburg, W.Va., for 34 years and was currently a Team Lead, Computer System Analyst.
Terri enjoyed hosting Ring Bomb Parties on Facebook, cooking/canning for her family, picking raspberries, traveling and finding and decorating her home with unusual items.
She is survived by her sisters, Rita Jaye Gleason and Lana Lynn Hutchinson, both of Great Cacapon, W.Va.; three brothers, Scott Zane Barker of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., James Walter Barker and Harold Zane Barker, Jr., of Great Cacapon, W.Va., and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Terri was preceded in death by two sisters, Tracy Ann Gordon and Cindy Lea LeBlanc and one brother, Harold Craig Barker.
Interment will be private at Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg, W.Va. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 8, 2023 at 11 a.m., at the CCC Shelter/Pavilion at Cacapon Resort State Park, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Friends and family are invited to attend.
