Morgan County Schools’ Science Fair winners attended the State Science Fair at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston on Monday, March 6. Students were escorted to Charleston by their families and performed well at the competition. Five local students brought home awards for their projects.
In Division I (Elementary), Greyson Beckman, fifth grade student at Warm Springs Intermediate School won Third Place at the state competition.
In Division II (Middle school), students from Warm Spring Middle School won Second Place in sixth and seventh grade categories.
Abigail Close, Abby Culp, and Lilian Barkley won Second Place in all seventh grade projects.
Parker Stotler won Second Place in sixth grade projects.
