Elizabeth Chilcote, 100, of Glen Burnie, Md. and Berkeley Springs, W.Va. passed away on December 29, 2022 in Hanover, Md. Elizabeth was born on November 9, 1922 in Ohio to the late John and Joanna Kurtik. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Chilcote and her siblings. She is survived by her children, John Chilcote, Delores Chilcote, Vernon Chilcote, Patricia Finlayson, Charles Chilcote and David Chilcote. Elizabeth is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was a seamstress and also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading and puzzles.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW, Glen Burnie, Md. 21061 on Thursday, Jan. 5 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 6 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
