Annette B. Webb

1962-2022

Annette Biggert Webb, 60, passed away on November 16, 2022 at the Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, W.Va., with her husband of 24 years, Jerry Lynn Webb, by her side.

She was born on July 9, 1962 in Winchester, Va., to Donna Oates Biggert Selby and the late W. Thomas Biggert.

Surviving members of Annette’s family include her husband and her mother, as well as sister Denise Kane and husband Mark of Palmdale, Calif.; and step-daughter Melissa Webb Turner and husband Mark of Pensacola, Fla. She had two step-grandchildren, Jakob and Camden Turner of Pensacola, Fla.

Annette was preceded in death by her father, her niece Tory Kane and her step-daughter Heather Diane Webb.

Annette graduated from Berkeley Springs High School in 1980 where she was a member of the National Honor Society, Wrestling Team Statistician and Drum Majorette in the marching band; she also played the saxophone. Outside of school, Annette was an active member of Smiles 4-H Club.

She graduated from West Virginia University in 1984 with a degree in nursing and worked for 25 years as a neonatal, and a labor and delivery nurse at Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Fla. and at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Annette loved dogs and her flower garden at her home in Inwood, W.Va. Her smile and laughter could light up a room.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 10 at Union Chapel Methodist Church, 10123 Valley Road, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. 25411. Visitation will be from 11-12; a service will be held at 12 p.m. followed by a luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Annette’s memory may be sent to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.

Arrangements are by the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory in Capon Bridge, W.Va.
