Robert Edgar Miller, age 72, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his residence.
Born March 4, 1950 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late Virgil Joseph, Sr. and Mary Lee Crosen Miller Kirch.
He was a Christian.
He was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and worked as a mechanic on heavy commercial equipment.
He retired from Brentwood Industries in Martinsburg, W.Va. He also worked at Vanguard/Voit Sports Products in Berkeley Springs and was a former deputy sheriff in Morgan County.
He loved fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family.
Robert is survived by his wife Vickie Lee Bivens Miller, at home, his children, Stacy Lynn Miller and Amy Cheryl Dawson, both of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Jennifer Blanche Baker Francis of Stephens City, Va., Lauren Rose Maus of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Trena Lynn Young of Hedgesville, W.Va., three brothers, Dale Jerome Miller, Virgil Joseph Miller, Jr., and Kenneth Wayne Miller, all of Berkeley Springs, four grandchildren, Logan Bryce Heironimus and Ian Robert Heironimus, both of Berkeley Springs, Bridget Nicole Dawson of Shepherdstown, W.Va. and Cassie Elaine Baker of Stephens City. Robert is also survived by his father and stepmother, Terry and Bonnie Shaw Kirch of Berkeley Springs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Anthony Miller and Donald William Crosen.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at the Country Inn on Saturday, May 7, 2022. There will be a service and singing from 11 a.m. to noon and a meal and time of remembering from noon to 2 p.m.
