Morgan County Schools’ Science Fair winners attended the State Science Fair at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston on Monday, March 7. Students were escorted to Charleston by their families and performed well at the competition. Three Morgan County students brought home awards for their projects.
“We are looking forward to great Scientific adventures with these students,” said Kandy Pentoney.
Aubrey Norcross, fifth grader from Warm Springs Intermediate School, won Second Place in the Elementary division for her project, “Can You Taste Color?”.
Joshua Morgan, fifth grader from Warm Springs Intermediate School, won Third Place in the Elementary division for his project, “Perfect Parachute.”
Bailey Poniris, fifth grader from Paw Paw Elementary, won Second Place in the Elementary division for her project, “A Bird’s Eye View of Color.”
