Joanna Irene Komsa, 85, Hancock, Md., passed away December 30, 2021, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, Md.

Born March 8, 1936, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Calvin Strawderman and Anna Carter Strawderman and the widow of John A. Komsa, Jr.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Hancock, Md.

She worked for a book binding company and a school cafeteria before retiring.
