Harold Edward “Buddy” Williams, age 83, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born April 8, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Lena Mae Rader Williams.

He was a Christian. He attended public schools in Baltimore, Md.

Buddy worked as an auto mechanic and was a music aficionado. He played lead guitar and sang vocals with Faron Young.

He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483 in Berkeley Springs.

Buddy is survived by his children, Laura Mildred Reed and her partner Larry of North Carolina, Scott Edward Williams of Nashville, Tenn., William Kenneth Barr of Jacksonville, Fla., Kimberley Jean Diehl and her husband Shawn of Berkeley Springs and Michelle Kathleen Fox of Hermitage, Tenn., one sister, Barbara Barr and one brother, Arthur Williams and his wife Pat, all of Baltimore, 13 grandchildren, Dustin DeGraw, Michael DeGraw and Mercedes Fox, all of North Carolina, Brittany Parks and Tia Williams, both of Rosedale, Md., Joshua Williams of Bellmore, N.Y., Savannah Dunivant of Jarrettsville, Md., Stephen Barr of Atlanta, Ga., John Barr of Portland, Ore., Brittany Barr of Jacksonville, Sean Diehl and Ryan Diehl, both of Berkeley Springs and Logan Heironimus of Winchester, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Kay Nelson Williams, three sisters and three brothers.

There was a celebration of Buddy’s life from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483 social hall, 793 N. Washington Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
