Gail Victor McCusker
1941-2022
Gail Victor McCusker, 80, Hancock, Md., passed away May 25, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born September 15, 1941, he was the son of the late Austin and Anna Mae McCusker, and the husband of Lawana McCusker.
He was a member of the Hancock Assembly of God Church and a Board Member of Southern States. He retired from Westvaco Papermill.
He was a devoted man of God, an avid farmer and loved to hunt, trap and fish.
In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by a son, Victor McCusker, and wife Mechelle; a daughter, Catona McCusker; four grandchildren, Ronnie Gaither, Derek Gaither, Devin McCusker and Bryan McCusker, and wife Courtney; six great-grandchildren, Kayde Gaither, Kayslee Gaither, Ashton Gaither, Aubrey McCusker, Everly McCusker and Alexis Trokonski; one brother, Lester McCusker and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Loyal, Donnie, Kenneth and Urcel; and four sisters, Marion Kerns, Louise Kidwell, Regina Manning, and Margaret McCusker.
The family received friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, 10-11 a.m., at Hancock Assembly of God Church, 431 North Pennsylvania Ave., Hancock, Md. Funeral service followed at 11 a.m. Rev. David Luffy officiated. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, 14253 Exline Road, Hancock, Md.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main St, Hancock, Md.
