Wilma Jean Yost
1941-2026
Wilma Jean Yost, age 84, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in Winchester, Va.
Born Thursday, October 16, 1941, in Hancock, Md., she was the beloved daughter of the late Jacob Mitchell and Esther Landers.
Wilma worked for Hepburn Orchards until they closed. She then went to work at London Fog in Hancock until their closing.
She was a five-generation mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
Wilma is survived by her Daughter Della J. Coleman and husband John; grandson John M. Coleman, wife Hannah and their son; granddaughter, Angela Coleman; three sons, Richard Stotler and family, Donald Stotler, wife Sandra and family, and David A. Stotler and family; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Molly Young and Bonnie Bageant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Bus, and Bob Mitchell; one sister, Janice Stotler; and her two husbands, Donald E. Stotler and Rick Ondrizek.
There will be a gathering for family and friends on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 W. Main Street, Hancock, MD 21750. A graveside service will follow at Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church cemetery, 14253 Exline Road, Hancock, MD 21750. Pastor Jeff Hawbaker will officiate.
