Doris Ann Francis

Doris Ann Francis, age 71, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center.
Born May 1, 1950, in Gaithersburg, Md., she was the daughter of the late William Jackson and Frances Auzine Shipe Foster.
She was a Presbyterian.
Doris was a graduate of Gaithersburg High School and had worked as a hairdresser and also a Certified Nursing Assistant at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.
She enjoyed baking, cooking, mushroom hunting, yard sales and loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, “John” Glenn Ray Francis, at home, her children, Glendora Kay Rockwell and her husband Mark and Glenn Ray Francis II and his wife Jessica, all of Berkeley Springs, and Laura Beth Richards and her husband Roy, of Warfordsburg, Pa., three brothers, William Foster and Robert Foster, both of Hagerstown, Md. and Richard Amos of Missouri, eight grandchildren, McKennah Mullen, Sabryn Rockwell, Jackson Rockwell, Nathan Francis, Jacoby Francis and Gabriel Francis, all of Berkeley Springs, Kirsten Richards and Ethan Richards, both of Warfordsburg and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Lane.
There will be a celebration of her life from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
