David Paul Nesbitt

David Paul Nesbitt, 70, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. died December 19, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born in Wheeling, W.Va. on December 7, 1951, he was the son of the late Paul Albert Nesbitt and the late Loretta (Rush) Nesbitt of Wheeling, W.Va.
He was a 1969 graduate of Wheeling High School and a 1981 graduate of West Liberty State College, West Liberty, W.Va. He also attended Murray State University, Murray Ky.
He was a retired and proud veteran, having served from 1971 to 2001 in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Kay (Whisner) Nesbitt; one sister, Peg (Jim) Ritchey of Greencastle, Pa., and one brother, Greg (Bobbi) Nesbitt of Wheeling, W.Va. He is also survived by three daughters, Peggy (Brian) Lobdell of Sarasota, Fla., Lori (Phil) Evans of Eva, Tenn. and Krissi Sheppard of Washington, Pa.; two sons, Paul Campiti and Sean Lombardo both of Pass Christian, Mass. In addition to his children, he has two bonus daughters, Fara (Matt) Butler and Erica (Bobby) Jovick, both of Oak Harbor, Wash.: and two bonus sons, Matthew (Alicia) Hill of Gilbert, Ariz. and David (Aimee) Hill of Clinton, Wash. David also leaves twenty-nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday, December 22 at 3 p.m. at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 36 South Green Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Interment will be February 19, 2022 in Sarasota, Fla.
