Daren E. Schultz, 50, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, Md.

Daren was born in Hagerstown, Md., on May 25, 1971, a son of Doris E. (Fraley) Schultz, of Warfordsburg, Pa., and the late Joseph Ray Schultz, Sr. He was the husband of Nichole M. (Barton) Schultz, whom he married on June 27, 1992.

He was the Superintendent for Goldin & Stafford in Washington D.C., being employed by them since 2004 and he was a member of Needmore Bible Church in Needmore, Pa.

Daren’s love in his life was his family.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his son Daren E. (husband of Christina) Schultz, Jr., of Warfordsburg, Pa.; daughter Whitney N. Schultz, of Warfordsburg, Pa.; brothers Doug (husband of Diane) Schultz, of Connecticut, Joe (husband of Virginia) Schultz, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Dave (husband of Tracey) Schultz, of Warfordsburg, Pa., John (husband of Donna) Schultz, of Connecticut, Jay (husband of Jayne) Schultz, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; sisters Helen (wife of Donnie) Betts, of Hancock, Md., and Connie Wills (companion of Ray Breakall), of Hancock, Md. He is also survived by five grandchildren; Janie Schultz, Sammy Schultz, Danny Schultz, Marcus Schultz , Jayce Mellott and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a great nephew Austin Pease.

The family of Daren will be hosting a Celebration of Life at Needmore Bible Church, Needmore, Pa., at 11 a.m., on Saturday, October 16, with Pastor Doug Poffenberger and Pastor Denny Plessinger officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Daren to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Pennsylvania, 745 West Governor Road, Hershey, PA 17033.
