Bertha Lee Irene Cross, age 87, of Hedgesville. W.Va., died on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at her home.
Born September 6, 1933 in Pinto, Md., she was the daughter of the late Guy E. and Bertha Marie Lease Shuck.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Cross, at home; two daughters, Terri Jo Cross, of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Robin Bartgis, of Hedgesville, W.Va.; two sons, Wayne A. Cross, of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Michael G. Cross, of Falling Waters, W.Va.; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Mason; two sons, Randy Cross and Ronnie Cross; one sister, Clesta Fontenot and four brothers, Elmer Shuck, Douglas Shuck, Nil Shuck and Wayne Shuck.
Memorial Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 36 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs, with Pastor Jack Hiles, Jr. officiating. Burial will be private.
