Berkeley Springs Pride to host 2nd annual Picnic in the Park

The second annual Pride Picnic in the Park will be held on Saturday, June 25 in Berkeley Springs State Park from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Events will include live music by Matt Otis, more food trucks this year, new vendors, face painting, kids’ games, raffles, giveaways and more.

“Bring your blankets and picnic baskets to relax in a safe space,” said organizers for the event.

Anyone interested in volunteering at the event,  or setting up a booth for a non-profit or organization can message Berkeley Springs Pride on Messenger.

The following vendors and community organizations have confirmed they will be present at the Pride Picnic: Fairness WV, Morgan County Arts Council, Humane Society of Morgan County, Eastern Panhandle Empowerment Center, ACLU of WV, Women’s Health Center of WV, National Youth Advocate Program, Brooklane, First Choice Services, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Eastern Panhandle, Give Purrs a Chance, Starting Points and others yet to come.

While in town, picnickers can take a stroll and admire window displays at local businesses, and can vote for their favorite.
