Angela Dawn “Angie” Swaim, age 58, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Friday, December 31, 2021 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.

Born July 30, 1963 in Richlands, Va., she was the daughter of Mark Kinsella Swaim of Berkeley Springs and the late Carolyn Sue Addison Swaim.

She was a member of the Word of Deliverance Church in Berkeley Springs.

Angie was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in child psychology from the University of Maryland.

She had worked as a victim’s advocate in Orange County, Fla.  She was an avid reader of scripture and hymns and was extremely active in animal rescue.

In addition to her father, she is survived by one son, Lance Robert Brumbaugh of Orlando, Fla., one granddaughter, Kierra Faith Brumbaugh of South Korea and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Michael Keefer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Lisa Hiles will officiate.

Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.
