Wesley Todd Mowery, Jr., 34, of Hancock, died Friday, August 23, 2019 in Berkeley Springs from the result of an automobile accident.
Born on October 31, 1984 in Berkeley Springs, he was the son of Wesley Todd Mowery, Berkeley Springs and Robin Tessa Jones Beach, Hollidaysburg, Pa.
He was a Christian and attended Berkeley Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
He was a self-employed contractor.
He liked outdoors, fishing, camping and going kayaking.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kacey Sipes Mowery at home; his children, Ellie Mowery, Cadence Sipes and Levi Poe all at home; one sister, Misty Stallard, Berkeley Springs; one brother, David Snow, Jr., Berkeley Springs; his stepmother, Norma Mowery, Berkeley Springs; paternal grandmother, Carol Harbargh; maternal grandparents, Estee and Marie Unger and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one son, Wesley Todd Mowery III; one sister, Tammy Snow and maternal grandparents, Robert Jones, Sr. and Evelyn Jones.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, August 27 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs. Pastor Joseph “Joey” Giles, Jr. officiated. Burial was private.
Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
