Welden Thomas “Will” Ryan, 31, of Great Cacapon, died Saturday, August 1, 2020 at WellSpan York Hospital, York, Pa.

Born September 15, 1988 in Martinsburg, he was the son of Timothy Robert Ryan of Great Cacapon and Patricia Sue Harris Swisher of Pittsville, Md.

He was a Christian.

He was a graduate of Mountaineer Challenge Academy where he earned a full scholarship and studied computer forensics with Kaplan University.

He was a disc jockey with WCST in Berkeley Springs where he was known on the Will Cartwright Show.

He liked cooking, hunting, fishing, martial arts, watching movies, playing guitar and piano and riding dirt bikes and four wheelers.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Laci Graham, Hagerstown, Md.; his stepmother, Pam Ryan; his nephew and niece and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas Robert and Shirley Jean Dornbusch Ryan and his maternal grandparents, Joseph Edward and Patricia Sue Vanbrackel Harris.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 8 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs. Pastor Ricky Love officiated. Burial was private.
