Walter Leon Miller, Jr., age 77, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born May 16, 1942 in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Walter Leon, Sr. and Leona Belle Dawson Miller.

He was a Christian.

Walter worked 23 years for Brandt Cabinet Works in Hagerstown, Md. and at Seely Pine Furniture for 22 years.

He was a member of Alderton-Dawson Sons of the American Legion Squadron #60 in Berkeley Springs.

Walter enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren, going to watch his grandchildren’s sports activities, building and tinkering with furniture in his shop.

Walter is survived by his wife of 57½ years, Judy Ann Stotler Miller, at home; his children, Vernon Leon Miller and his wife, Doris, Kimberly Ann King and her husband, Todd, Randy Walter Miller and his wife, Sabrina, all of Great Cacapon, W.Va.; one sister, Judy Doak of Berkeley Springs; four brothers, Robert Miller of McConnellsburg, Pa., Harold “Sonny” Miller and Gene Miller, both of Berkeley Springs, Bill Miller of Falling Waters, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Munson of Berkeley Springs, Brandon Leon Munson of Zanesville, Ohio, Monica Renee Hess of Hedgesville, Jared Tyler Miller, Steven Glenn Miller, Keira Alexis Miller, all of Great Cacapon; six great-grandchildren, Avery Tanner Munson King, Abigail Trinity Ryan, Alexander Guy Ryan, all of Great Cacapon, Mason Reagan Stotler and Lincoln Jaxtyn Hess, both of Hedgesville, Amelia LaDawn Munson of Zanesville, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services and burial will be private at a later date.
