Vivian Irene Unger
1942-2021
Vivian Irene Unger, age 78, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Meritus Medical Center, in Hagerstown, Md.
Born July 6, 1942, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Fred Iden and Helen (Stottlemyer) Iden.
She had a wonderful life with her loving husband, Don, whom she married on January 14, 1961.
She graduated from Hancock High School in 1960. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed listening to the birds singing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Gregory Unger, of Hancock; a daughter, Karen Reed, of Clear Spring, Md.; two grandsons, Dylan Reed and Cody Unger; three sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Unger; a grandson, Joshua Unger; two brothers and a sister.
Graveside services were held on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 12 noon, in the Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, in Needmore, Pa., with Rev. Donald Preston officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock.
