Ulyses Sidney Grant Megargee IV, 62, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, February 24, 2018 at his home.
Born July 4, 1955 in Front Royal, Va., he was the son of Mary Ann Jenkins Gibbs, Charles Town and the late Ulyses Sidney Grant Megargee III.
He attended Charles Town High School.
He worked for Jefferson County Parks and Recreation in the maintenance department.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years Sarah Christine Megargee at home; one son, Ulyses Megargee V, Falling Waters; two daughters, Raechel Megargee, Berkeley Springs and Meagan Grove, Charles Town; one sister, Ann Breeden, Summit Point and two brothers, Bruce Megargee, Martinsburg and James Gibbs, Kearneysville.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 10 at the Summit Point United Methodist Church.
Memorial contributions can be made to his daughter for her college education. A trust has been set up c/o Sarah Megargee, P.O. Box 291, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
