Thomas Powell Dove, Sr., 67, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
He was born October 3, 1950 in Berkeley County, he was the son of the late Jacob Powell and Velda Louise Sherrard Dove.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He graduated from public schools in Martinsburg.
He retired from General Binding Corporation in Hagerstown, Md.
He liked fishing, football and NASCAR racing.
He is survived by three children, Thomas Dove, Jr., Martinsburg, Jeffrey Dove, Hedgesville and Margie Dove, Inwood; one step-son, Richard Leasure, Gretna, Neb. and seven grandchildren, John Dove, Inwood, Abby Leasure and Trey Leasure, both of Gretna, Trevor Dove, Martinsburg, Jayda Reckner, Lucas Dove and Aynslee Dove, all of Hedgesville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs with Pastor Mike Kenney officiating, where the family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Interment will be in Mahnes Chapel Cemetery.
