Thomas F. Fitzgerald

Thomas Francis Fitzgerald, 87, died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Berkeley Springs Center in Berkeley Springs.
Born January 22, 1932 in Washington, D.C., he is the son of the late Thomas Francis, Sr. and Marion Elizabeth Watson Fitzgerald.
He attended Vincent de Paul Catholic Church but had recently attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Hancock.
He attended school in Washington, D.C.
He served in the United States Marines during Vietnam.
He worked for the Census bureau in computer operations for the government.
He liked hunting and shooting.
He is survived by three sons, Gary, Shane and Brian Fitzgerald.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Franklin Fitzgerald.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, September 28 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Hancock. Rev. John L. Lombardi officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
