Hancock’s Veterans Memorial Library and the Hancock Historical Society are holding a contest to check local knowledge about Hancock area veterans. The contest encourages people to take a closer look at the banners honoring local veterans all around Widmeyer Park and at the Memorial Wall in the park.
Contestants who answer 12 out of 15 questions correctly will be entered into a drawing on November 30 for a prize basket.
The contest is free and open to all. Pick up forms at the Veterans Memorial library or use the one printed here. Answer the questions and turn in your answers by 4 p.m. on November 30.
