The Town of Hancock will be holding a swearing-in ceremony for the council members and mayor who won the January 28 election next Monday, February 11, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
Mayor Ralph Salvagno will be sworn in for his second term as mayor, while Tim Smith will be sworn in for his second consecutive term. He had served multiple terms prior. Roland Lanehart Jr. will be sworn in for his first term on town council.
Also during swearing in ceremony, Sgt. Rick Cook will be officially sworn in as Hancock’s new Police Chief. Cook was officially promoted to chief during the January town meeting.
Town officials will hold their monthly town meeting on Wednesday evening, February 13.
