Stolen vehicle leads PA State Police on pursuit

Pennsylvania State Police were led on a four-mile pursuit on Sunday evening, May 27, just after 8 p.m. that stretched from Needmore to Warfordsburg.

According to police, police located a stolen white Subaru Impreza driven by Haley Elizabeth Biser, 19, of Frederick, when the attempted a traffic stop when Biser and her 16-year old female passenger, fled the scene at high rates of speed.

Biser then crashed the vehicle on Great Cove Road at Klondike Road, police said.

Police said Biser allegedly then fled on foot for a short distance before being apprehended. The 16-year old female also attempted to flee by driving the vehicle after getting in the driver’s seat.

Police apprehended the teen shortly thereafter.

Biser was found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance. She was arrested and charged with fleeing and eluding, receiving stolen property, and DUI.

The 16-year old female was arrested and charged with fleeing and eluding, receiving stolen property and providing a fake name to law enforcement.

Police said the vehicle belonged to a 52-year old woman from Frederick.
