Starting Points moves to new home

by Kate Evans

Morgan County Starting Points has a new location inside the Senior Life Services of Morgan County facility at 106 Sand Mine Road as of today, January 22. That facility is the former U.S. Silica building.

“We’re excited to embark on this new adventure and partnership,” Starting Points Executive Director Audrey Morris said.

Movers are bringing big items during their move today while staff was packing and transporting smaller things that could be loaded into their vehicles.

Starting Points has run its family services agency out of the county-owned Community Services Building — the former Bath District School on Green Street—for several years. The county’s Economic Development Authority is selling the former school building and officials advised agencies operating out of the building to find alternative locations for their programs.
