Sir John Lewis Maas PHD, 79, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the Winchester Medical Center.
He was born August 13, 1940 in Detroit, Mich.; the son of Lewis D. and Marcella S. Maas.
John retired from the USDA as a plant pathologist.
He was a member of the North-South Skirmish Association and the North American Strawberry Growers Association.
