Sharon Rose Youngblood, 75, of Hedgesville, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born October 26, 1942 in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Ray Samuel and Ilda Genevieve Sheppard Huffman.

She was a member of Snyder’s Bible Chapel.

She had been a homemaker for most of her life. She liked gardening and flowers.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Friendie Richard Youngblood, at home; two sons, Richard Youngblood, Hedgesville and Robert Youngblood, Charles Town; one sister, Ruth Huffman, Spring Mills; one brother, Samuel Huffman, Inwood; three grandchildren, Nikita Mason and Logan Stout, both of Hedgesville and Christopher Youngblood, Martinsburg and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Debora Mason and Sharon Stout and one brother, Ronald Huffman.

Graveside funeral services were conducted on Saturday, October 13, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hedgesville. Pastor Donald Dick officiated.

Arrangements were handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs.
