Ruth Kathleen Clark, 91, of Berkeley Springs, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born October 19, 1927 at home in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Foster and Bertha Mae Hovermale Johnson.

She was a member of Calvary Bible Church.

She attended Berkeley Springs High School.

She had worked at the Interwoven Hosiery Mill, Berkeley Springs, Royce Hosiery in Martinsburg and at Jacob Brothers Sewing Factory in Hancock. S

he had been a homemaker in recent years and liked crocheting and sewing.

Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Earnest Wilson Clark, Jr., at home; her children, Steven Clark, David Clark and Teresa Seville all of Berkeley Springs; one brother, Ralph Johnson, Kissimmee, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Julia Billings and Freddie Yost.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, January 25 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs. Pastor Jason Seville officiated.

Interment was in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.
