Ruby Ilene Rockwell

Ruby Ilene Rockwell, age 86, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. died on March 1, 2021 at Berkeley Springs Center in Berkeley Springs.
Born February 19, 1935 in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Silas Jerome and Anna Beatrice Penner Murphy.
Ruby is survived by six daughters, Carolyn Sue McManus of Great Cacapon, W.Va., Connie Marie Farris, Betty Lea Sherrard, Darlene Linda Webb, Robin Denise MacCumbee and Anna J. Smith all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., two sons, Ralph Richard Rockwell and George William Rockwell, Jr. both of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George William Rockwell, Sr, on June 25, 2017, two daughters, Sharon Lee Stotler and Beverley Gail Hovermale, one grandson Joshua C. Rockwell one brother, Larry Creed Murphy.
Family received friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 36 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs.
Funeral was conducted 2 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, with Pastor Joshua Rider officiating, burial was in Duckwall Cemetery.
