1942-2019
Roy G. Barnhart, 77, of McConnellsburg, Pa. passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019.
He was born in McConnellsburg, Pa. on February 10, 1942, son of the late Violet C. (Deshong) and Clarence I. Barnhart.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Helen (Barthalow) Barnhart, McConnellsburg; a daughter, Helen (Souders) Straley (husband Randy) of Hedgesville, W.Va.; a son, Joseph Souders (partner Allen Roser) of York, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In addition, he is also survived by his sister, Mary (Barnhart) Rohm, McConnellsburg. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Zella (Souders) Shields; two sons, Earl Souders and Timmy Souders; and 10 brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
