Rosemary D. Smith

Rosemary D. Smith, 89, died Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Berkeley Springs Center LLC in Berkeley Springs.
Born September 2, 1929 at the home of her uncle in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Brady Hebert and Alberta M. Slider Dolly.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Phillipsburg Community Church.
She graduated in 1951 from Frostburg State Teachers College with a degree in Math education.
She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #77 in Berkeley Springs.
She began teaching at Flintstone School and retired from teaching at Hancock High School.
She is survived by one niece and four nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years whom she married October 10, 1957 Donald Edward Smith who died February 1, 2019.
Funeral service was conducted Tuesday, September 3 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs. Rev. Gary Kerns officiated. Burial was in Rocky Gap Veteran Cemetery, Flintstone, Md.
