Ronnie Lee Peck, age 73, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.

Born November 25, 1945 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late Melvin William, Sr. and Mary Belle Stotler Peck.

He was a Christian.

Ronnie was a 1965 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and retired in 2002 after 33 years of service as a machinist with General Motors.

He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483 in Berkeley Springs.

He was the owner/operator of Cacapon Country Store in Great Cacapon.

He enjoyed cars and spending time at his “farm/cabin” in Great Cacapon.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Peggy Darlene Johnson Peck, at home; his daughter, Teresa Renee Kelley and her husband Randy; his granddaughter Morgan Elizabeth Kelley, all of Charles Town, W.Va., and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin William “Egghead” Peck, Jr.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Interment was in Greenway Cemetery.

The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
