Ronald E. Keefer
1956-2019
Ronald Eugene Keefer, 62, of Hedgesville, died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at his home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born June 22, 1956 in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Merle William “Whitey” and Mary Elizabeth Shifflett Keefer.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He attended public schools in Hancock and had been working as a fabricator with V.T. Industries in Hagerstown.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Kaye Knable Keefer, at home; one son, Ryan Golden, Berkeley Springs; six brothers, Raymond O’Rourke, Terry Keefer and Davy Keefer all of Hancock, Bernie Keefer, Hedgesville, W.Va., Kenny Keefer, Falling Waters, W.Va. and Keith Keefer, Berkeley Springs; four grandchildren, Sara Keefer and Jaxon Keefer, both of New Jersey, Kirsten Cox and Jarett Golden, both of Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Keefer.
Services and interment will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs.
