This past week the Berkeley Springs High School Athletic Department released the Ron Clatterbuck Unsung Hero Award winner. The individual who was honored with this award is a senior athlete who has gone the extra mile for their respective teams.
The 2020 Ron Clatterbuck Unsung Hero Award went to senior Kaleah Mellott.
Mellott was a three sport varsity letterman for Berkeley Springs High School. Mellott was a varsity cheerleader, varsity basketball player and varsity track and field thrower.
Mellott was named to The Morgan Messenger and The Hancock News All-Area Basketball (2020) and Track & Field team (2019). It was Mellott’s dedication to put in extra work in her athletics that made her standout for the Ron Clatterbuck Unsung Hero Award.
