Rika Margaret Bennett, age 73, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born December 26, 1945 in Farnham, England, she was the daughter of the late Josephus Heinrich Jacobus and Vera Margaret Hook Rohlfs.

She was of the Methodist faith.

She attended public schools in Maryland and had been a homemaker for most of her life.

She was a member of Delectable Mountain Quilters, and for more than 30 years, had created the Apple Butter Festival quilt.

ther, all of Berkeley Springs, one sister, Julie Ann Rohlfs of Berkeley Springs, one brother, Steven Joseph Rohlfs of Greenville, SC, five grandchildren, Leah Rae Hancock, Steven Jacob Bennett and Tristan Matthew Hancock, all of Berkeley Springs, Emily Noel Kipps and Charles “Chase” Francis Kipps IV, both of Inwood, two great grandchildren, Aerolynn Loretta Kipps and Blayden River Kipps, both of Inwood.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Edward Bennett on October 19, 2011 and one daughter, Melissa Peterson.

Services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Morgan County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, 1337 Pious Ridge Road, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
