Raymond L. Crosen

1945-2018

Raymond Larry Crosen, 73, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at his home.

Born May 26, 1945 at home in Great Cacapon, he was the son of the late Raymond Stanley and Nora Glenna Kerns Crosen.

He was a Christian. He attended Berkeley Springs High School.

He had worked as a truck driver with T.H. Compton, Rayloc in Hancock and as an automobile mechanic at the Warm Springs Garage.

He liked history, hunting, fishing, camping, collecting coins and his red truck.

Surviving are his children, Nora Crosen, Mishawaka, Ind., Tonya Potter, Berkeley Springs and Larry Crosen, South Bend, Ind.; three brothers, Robert Crosen, Sr., Winchester, Va., Max Crosen and Donald Crosen, both of Berkeley Springs; four grandchildren, Ashley Potter, Belpre, Ohio, Adam, Zachary and Luke Kanczuzewski, all of South Bend and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Farris Crosen on August 16, 2015; four sisters, Dorothy Frye, Margaret Taylor, Mary Kirch and Linda Akers and one brother, Albertus “Bert” Crosen.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, September 30 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs. Pastor Jack Hiles, Jr. officiated. Burial was in Great Cacapon Cemetery.
