Raymond B. Divelbiss

1959-2018
Raymond Blake Divelbiss, age 58 of Hancock, Md., died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born April 2, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Okla.,  he was the son of the late Millard Clarence Divelbiss and Noramay “Jackie” Payne Divelbiss Mellott of Hancock, Md.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hancock, Md. Raymond graduated from Hancock High school. He was an Elder in his church. He worked for Merkle Response Management in Hagerstown as a fork-lift operator. He enjoyed hiking and photography.
He was a beloved husband of 10 years to Dena Marie Holmes Divelbiss at home; two daughters, Sara Rebecca Divelbiss Jones and husband Lloyd Saddi Jones, Sr. of Denton, Texas, Emily Kate Divelbiss Hockett of Allen, Texas; one son, Ian Mathis Divelbiss Hockett, Allen, Texas; one brother, Michael Alan Divelbiss of Hancock, Md.; two grandchildren, Lloyd Saddi Jones, Jr. and Maggie Mae Jones both of Denton, Texas.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Divelbiss and one sister, Kathy Jean Miley.
Funeral Services were conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; 200 Douglas Street, Hancock, Md., with Bishop Lance Hendershot officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hancock, Md.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Church and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
