Police have taken into custody the man they believe robbed City National Bank in Berkeley Springs on Tuesday, June 4. Berkeley Springs Police Chief T.J. Johnson said he spotted the man, identified as Steven Silverman of Maryland, on the sidewalk in front of City National Bank on Friday afternoon — three days after the robbery.
